The Prophet ﷺ forbade combining unripe dates with ripe dates, and Zabib with ripe dates.
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب وحفص بن عمر النمري قالا حدثنا شعبة عن الحكم عن ابن أبي ليلى
عن النبي ﷺ قال نهى عن البلح والتمر والزبيب والتمر
Its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it in "Ashribah," chapter on the prohibition of drinking the nabidh of two mixed fruits, etc., hadith 5549, from the hadith of Shuba, through this same chain.Hakam bin Utayba explicitly stated that he heard it directly, as found in Ahmad, 4/314.
