The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade soaking raisins and dates together to make a drink, and he forbade soaking unripe dates and ripe dates together to make a drink.
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا الليث عن عطاء بن أبي رباح
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه نهى أن ينتبذ الزبيب والتمر جميعا ونهى أن ينتبذ البسر والرطب جميعا
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Beverages, Chapter on the dislike of soaking dates and raisins mixed together, hadith no. 1986, from Qutayba. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Beverages, Chapter on those who held that unripe and ripe dates should not be mixed if the result is intoxicating, etc., hadith no. 5601, from the hadith of Ata bin Abu Rabah, with the same chain.
