Musaddad reported from Ibn Abbas, and this is the wording of Sulayman's narration, he said, the delegation of Abdul-Qays came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, we are from this tribe of Rabia, and the disbelievers of Mudar stand between us and you, so we cannot reach you except during the sacred months. Therefore, command us with something we can hold to and call those behind us to."He said, "I command you with four things and forbid you from four. Belief in Allah and testifying that there is no god but Allah," and he held up one finger.Musaddad's version says, "Belief in Allah," then he explained it to them, "Testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, giving the zakat, and that you pay one-fifth of whatever spoils you take. And I forbid you from the dubba, the hantam, the muzaffat, and the muqayyar."Ibn Ubayd's version has "Naqi" in place of "muqayyar."Musaddad's version mentions "Naqi and muqayyar" and does not mention "muzaffat."
