We bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourd containers, green-glazed jars, vessels coated with pitch, and hollowed-out wooden stumps.

نشهد أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن الدباء والحنتم والمزفت والنقير
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, the chapter on the prohibition of steeping dates or raisins in tar-coated vessels, gourds, jars, and hollowed-out logs, etc., hadith no. 1997, from the hadith of Mansur bin Hayan, with this wording.
