Are you not amazed at Abu Hurairah? He came and sat beside my chamber narrating from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, making sure I could hear him, while I was engaged in my voluntary prayer. He got up before I could finish my prayer, and had I caught him, I would have refuted him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not rattle off hadith the way you people rattle them off.
