The Prophet ﷺ said, "The neighbor of a house has the greatest right to his neighbor's house or land."
حدثنا أبو الوليد الطيالسي حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة عن الحسن
عن النبي ﷺ قال جار الدار أحق بدار الجار أو الأرض
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi reported it in Ahkam, chapter on what has been said regarding shufah, no. 1368, from the hadith of Qatada, and he said, "Hasan sahih." Ibn Jarud also graded it sahih, no. 644.
