[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Buyu, chapter on the dislike of the price of a dog and a cat, no. 1280, and Ibn Majah, no. 3250, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq through him, and it is also in Musnad Ahmad, 3/297. Its chain is daif, but the hadith has corroborating narrations.
