The Prophet ﷺ said, "A town-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller, even if he is his brother or his father."
حدثنا زهير بن حرب أن محمد بن الزبرقان أبا همام حدثهم قال زهير وكان ثقة عن يونس عن الحسن
أن النبي ﷺ قال لا يبيع حاضر لباد وإن كان أخاه أو أباه
Graded sahih. Reported by Nasai, in the Book of Sales, chapter on the townsman selling for the villager, hadith 4497, from the hadith of Yunus bin Ubayd through this chain. It was also reported by Bukhari, hadith 2161, and Muslim, hadith 1523, from the hadith of Anas.Musa bin Ismail narrated to us.
