The Prophet ﷺ forbade the price paid for a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee given to a fortune-teller.
حدثنا قتيبة عن سفيان عن الزهري عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن
عن النبي ﷺ أنه نهى عن ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وحلوان الكاهن
Takhrij (source classification): Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Medicine, Chapter on Soothsaying, no. 5761, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sharecropping, Chapter on the Prohibition of the Price of a Dog and the Earnings of a Soothsayer, etc., no. 1567, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this same wording.
