He said that Allah granted Khaybar as spoils to His Messenger. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left its people in place as they were and made it a shared arrangement between himself and them. He then sent Abdullah bin Rawaha, who estimated the produce for them.

أنه قال أفاء الله على رسوله خيبر فأقرهم رسول الله ﷺ كما كانوا وجعلها بينه وبينهم فبعث عبد الله بن رواحة فخرصها عليهم
[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 3/367, from Muhammad bin Sabiq, through this route. It is also found in Mashyakhat Ibrahim bin Tahman, no. 37.Abu Zubayr used "an" narration in this wording, but the following hadith renders this one unnecessary.
