I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Swearing oaths makes merchandise sell quickly but wipes out the blessing."Ibn Sarh said, "from earnings," and he reported it from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح حدثنا ابن وهب ح و حدثنا أحمد بن صالح حدثنا عنبسة عن يونس عن ابن شهاب قال قال لي ابن المسيب إن
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول الحلف منفقة للسلعة ممحقة للبركة قال ابن السرح للكسب و قال عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ
Recorded by Muslim in Musaqat, chapter "The prohibition of swearing oaths in trade," hadith no. 1606, from Ibn Sarh, and Bukhari, in Buyu, chapter "Allah blots out riba and causes charity to increase... etc," hadith no. 2087, from the hadith of Yunus bin Yazid, with the same wording.
