The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man, while making tawaf around the Kaabah, who was being led by a rope tied to a ring through his nose. The Prophet ﷺ cut it off with his own hand and ordered that he be led by the hand instead.
Bukhari narrated it in Hajj, Chapter on Speaking During tawaf, no. 1620, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, with the same wording. In some copies, "Asim Ahwal" appears instead of "Sulayman Ahwal," but the correct name is the latter, as found in the Mujtabai copy of Sunan Abu Dawud, 2/112.
