The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no vow in disobedience to Allah, and its expiation is the expiation of an oath."
حدثنا إسمعيل بن إبراهيم أبو معمر حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك عن يونس عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة
أن النبي ﷺ قال لا نذر في معصية وكفارته كفارة يمين
[Sahih] Narrated by Nasai in "Oaths and Vows," chapter on the expiation of a vow, no. 3866, from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak with this wording. Tirmidhi said, no. 1524, "This hadith is not the hadith from Abu Salama." Zuhri explicitly stated that he heard it, as recorded by Nasai, no. 3869, so the chain of transmission is sahih.
