Dalham said, and Aswad bin Abdullah also narrated this to me from Asim bin Laqeet, that Laqeet bin Amir set out as a delegate to the Prophet ﷺ.Laqeet said, "We arrived before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He then mentioned a hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ said to Umar, "Your God."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي حدثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة حدثنا عبد الملك بن عياش السمعي الأنصاري عن دلهم بن الأسود بن عبد الله بن حاجب بن عامر بن المنتفق العقيلي عن أبيه
دلهم وحدثنيه أيضا الأسود بن عبد الله عن عاصم بن لقيط أن لقيط بن عامر خرج وافدا إلى النبي ﷺ قال لقيط فقدمنا على رسول الله ﷺ فذكر حديثا فيه فقال النبي ﷺ لعمر إلهك
Sourcing, its isnad is hasan. Ahmad reported it, 4/13, from the hadith of Ibn Ayyash, at length, and the chain is connected. See Nihayah fil-Fitan wal-Malahim (my edition), no. 532, and the new edition, no. 564.
