A man from Kindah and a man from Hadramawt brought a dispute before the Prophet ﷺ concerning a piece of land in Yemen.The Hadrami said, "Messenger of Allah, this man's father seized my land by force, and it is now in his possession."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you have any proof?"He replied, "No, but let him swear an oath. Allah knows that it is my land and that his father took it from me."The Kindi prepared himself to take the oath.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one seizes property by a false oath without meeting Allah with his hand cut off."The Kindi then said, "The land is his."

أن رجلا من كندة ورجلا من حضرموت اختصما إلى النبي ﷺ في أرض من اليمن فقال الحضرمي يا رسول الله إن أرضي اغتصبنيها أبو هذا وهي في يده قال هل لك بينة قال لا ولكن أحلفه والله يعلم أنها أرضي اغتصبنيها أبوه فتهيأ الكندي لليمين فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا يقتطع أحد مالا بيمين إلا لقي الله وهو أجذم فقال الكندي هي أرضه
