A man in the state of ihram had his neck broken when his she-camel threw him, and he died. He was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "Wash him and shroud him, but do not cover his head and do not bring perfume near him, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection calling out the talbiyah."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن الحكم عن سعيد بن جبير
وقصت برجل محرم ناقته فقتلته فأتي به رسول الله ﷺ فقال اغسلوه وكفنوه ولا تغطوا رأسه ولا تقربوه طيبا فإنه يبعث يهل
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Compensation for Hunting [Game], the chapter on what is forbidden of perfume for the one in ihram, whether male or female, hadith no. 1839, from the hadith of Jareer through this route. See also hadith no. 3238.
