Ayesha reported,

"Mother, uncover for me the grave of the Prophet ﷺ and his two companions ."So she uncovered for me three graves, neither raised high nor flat to the ground, spread with the red gravel of the courtyard.Abu Ali said, It is said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is placed in front, with Abu Bakr at his head and Umar at his feet, Umar's head being level with the feet of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

يا أمه اكشفي لي عن قبر النبي ﷺ وصاحبيه رضي الله عنهما فكشفت لي عن ثلاثة قبور لا مشرفة ولا لاطئة مبطوحة ببطحاء العرصة الحمراء قال أبو علي يقال إن رسول الله ﷺ مقدم وأبو بكر عند رأسه وعمر عند رجليه رأسه عند رجلي رسول الله ﷺ
