By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the funeral prayer over Suhayl bin Bayda nowhere but in the mosque.
حدثنا سعيد بن منصور حدثنا فليح بن سليمان عن صالح بن عجلان ومحمد بن عبد الله بن عباد عن عباد بن عبد الله بن الزبير
والله ما صلى رسول الله ﷺ على سهيل ابن البيضاء إلا في المسجد
[Sahih] Reported by Ibn Majah, Funerals, Chapter on what has been said about praying over funerals in the masjid, no. 1518, from the hadith of Fulayh bin Sulayman, with this wording. Muslim also reported it, no. 973, from the hadith of Abbad bin Abdullah, with this wording.
