He was present at the funeral of Uthman bin Abu As, and we were walking at a light pace when Abu Bakra caught up with us. He raised his whip and said, "I saw us walking briskly with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at funerals."

Sourced. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Nasai narrated it in the Book of Funerals, chapter on hastening with the funeral, hadith no. 914, from the hadith of Uyayna bin Abdul-Rahman with this wording. Hakim graded it sahih (1/355), and Dhahabi agreed with him.Regarding his statement, "Uthman bin Abu As," this is a mistake. The correct version is "in the funeral of Abdul-Rahman bin Samura."
