حدثنا علي بن سهل الرملي حدثنا حجاج عن ابن جريج قال أخبرت عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عاصم بن ضمرة
أن النبي ﷺ قال لا تبرز فخذك ولا تنظرن إلى فخذ حي ولا ميت
[Its chain of transmission is extremely daif]Ibn Majah transmitted it in the Book of Funerals, the chapter on what has been said regarding washing the deceased, hadith no. 1460, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, through this route. See also hadith no. 4015.Habib bin Abu Thabit narrated with "an" (ambiguous transmission), and the intermediary between him and Asim is Amr bin Khalid Wasiti, who is accused of lying and is discarded as a narrator.
