The Prophet ﷺ passed by Hamza, who had been mutilated, and he did not perform the funeral prayer over any of the martyrs except him.

[Hasan] Tahawi transmitted it in Maani al-Athar (1/502) from the hadith of Uthman bin Umar, with the same wording, and the hadith has corroborating narrations in his book (1/503) and elsewhere.Usamah is Ibn Zayd al-Laythi, and his teacher explicitly stated that he heard it directly, in another narration recorded by Tahawi.
