Sourcing, its chain of transmission is daif. Ahmad narrated it, 65/3, from Muhammad bin Rabia, through him.Muhammad bin Hasan bin Atiya Awfi and his father are both daif, and his grandfather is daif and a mudallis. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations in Bayhaqi, 63/4, and elsewhere.
