The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you urinates, he should not hold his private part with his right hand. When he relieves himself, he should not clean himself with his right hand. And when he drinks, he should not drink in a single breath."
حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم وموسى بن إسمعيل قالا حدثنا أبان حدثنا يحيى
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا بال أحدكم فلا يمس ذكره بيمينه وإذا أتى الخلاء فلا يتمسح بيمينه وإذا شرب فلا يشرب نفسا واحدا
Bukhari narrated it, Wudu, Chapter: One should not hold his penis with his right hand while urinating, Hadith: 153 and 154, and Muslim, Purification, Chapter on the prohibition of cleaning oneself after relieving oneself with the right hand, Hadith: 267, from the hadith of Yahya bin Abu Kathir through this route. Tirmidhi also narrated it, Hadith: 15, and Nasai: 24, 25, and Ibn Majah, Hadith: 310.
