She reported that Miqdad went to relieve himself at Baqi al-Khabkhabah, when suddenly a large rat began pulling a Dinar out of a hole. It kept bringing out one Dinar after another until it had produced seventeen Dinars. Then it brought out a red cloth containing another Dinar, making the total eighteen Dinars.He took them to the Prophet ﷺ, told him what had happened, and said to him, "Take the charity due on them."The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Did you reach into the hole?"Miqdad replied, "No."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to him, "May Allah bless you in them."
حدثنا جعفر بن مسافر حدثنا ابن أبي فديك حدثنا الزمعي عن عمته قريبة بنت عبد الله بن وهب عن أمها كريمة بنت المقداد
أنها أخبرتها قالت ذهب المقداد لحاجته ببقيع الخبخبة فإذا جرذ يخرج من جحر دينارا ثم لم يزل يخرج دينارا دينارا حتى أخرج سبعة عشر دينارا ثم أخرج خرقة حمراء يعني فيها دينار فكانت ثمانية عشر دينارا فذهب بها إلى النبي ﷺ فأخبره وقال له خذ صدقتها فقال له النبي ﷺ هل هويت إلى الجحر قال لا فقال له رسول الله ﷺ بارك الله لك فيها
