Several narrators reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted Bilal bin Harith al-Muzani the mines of Qabaliyyah, which lie in the region of al-Fur. Nothing has been taken from those mines except zakat, right up to the present day.
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك
عن غير واحد أن رسول الله ﷺ أقطع بلال بن الحارث المزني معادن القبلية وهي من ناحية الفرع فتلك المعادن لا يؤخذ منها إلا الزكاة إلى اليوم
[Hasan] Bayhaqi related it, 6/151, from the hadith of Abu Dawud through him, and it is in the Muwatta, 1/248, 249. Several narrators are unknown, and the hadith has corroborating narrations with Ibn Jarud, no. 371, and Hakim, 1/404, and others.
