A she-camel was offered as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ, so he asked, "Have you embraced Islam?"I replied, "No."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "I have been forbidden from accepting gifts from the polytheists."

أهديت للنبي ﷺ ناقة فقال أسلمت فقلت لا فقال النبي ﷺ إني نهيت عن زبد المشركين
[Hasan] Reported by Tirmidhi, Book of Military Expeditions, Chapter on the Dislike of Accepting Gifts from Polytheists, no. 1577, from the hadith of Abu Dawud Tayalisi with this wording, and he said, hasan sahih. It is also found in Musnad Tayalisi, no. 1083. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 1110. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Ahmad, 3/402, and Hakim, 3/484, 485, and elsewhere.
