Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Regarding the verses "Those who believed and emigrated" and "Those who believed but did not emigrate," the Arabi would not inherit from the Muhajir, nor would the Muhajir inherit from him. Then this ruling was abrogated, and Allah said, "And those of blood relations are more entitled to inherit from one another" [Anfal 8:75].

{والذين آمنوا وهاجروا} {والذين آمنوا ولم يهاجروا} فكان الأعرابي لا يرث المهاجر ولا يرثه المهاجر فنسختها فقال {وأولو الأرحام بعضهم أولى ببعض}
