The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out on the day of Badr with three hundred and fifteen men. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, they are barefoot, so provide them with mounts. O Allah, they are naked, so clothe them. O Allah, they are hungry, so feed them."Allah granted him victory on the day of Badr, and when they returned, every one of them came back with a camel or two, they were clothed, and they were well fed.
[Its isnad is hasan] Hakim narrated it, 2/132, 133, from the hadith of Ahmad bin Salih through this route.
