The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us out in an army heading toward Najd, and a raiding party went forth from the main army. The shares of the main army came to twelve camels each, and the members of the raiding party were given an additional camel each as a bonus, so their shares amounted to thirteen camels each.

بعثنا رسول الله ﷺ في جيش قبل نجد وانبعثت سرية من الجيش فكان سهمان الجيش اثني عشر بعيرا اثني عشر بعيرا ونفل أهل السرية بعيرا بعيرا فكانت سهمانهم ثلاثة عشر ثلاثة عشر
