The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is to be no jalab and no janab." Yahya added in his narration, "in horse racing."

[Hasan] Narrated by Nasai in the Book of Nikah, chapter on Shighar, hadith no. 3337, and by Tirmidhi, hadith no. 1123, from the hadith of Bishr bin Mufaddal, with the same wording. Ibn Majah also narrated it, hadith no. 3937, from Humayd. The hadith has corroborating narrations.
