The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels do not accompany a group that has a dog or a bell with them."
حدثنا أحمد بن يونس حدثنا زهير حدثنا سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تصحب الملائكة رفقة فيها كلب أو جرس
Reported by Muslim, Clothing and Adornment, chapter on the dislike of the bell and the dog in travel, hadith no. 2113, from the hadith of Suhayl bin Abu Salih through this chain.
