He heard him say that whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to Quba, he would visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, who was married to Ubada bin Samit. One day he came to her, and she gave him food and sat combing through his hair for lice, and he went on to relate this hadith.
حدثنا القعنبي عن مالك عن إسحق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة
أنه سمعه يقول كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا ذهب إلى قباء يدخل على أم حرام بنت ملحان وكانت تحت عبادة بن الصامت فدخل عليها يوما فأطعمته وجلست تفلي رأسه وساق هذا الحديث
Bukhari transmitted it in the book of jihad and expeditions, in the chapter on praying for jihad and martyrdom for men and women, hadith 2788, 2789, and Muslim in the book of leadership, in the chapter on the merit of raiding by sea, hadith 1912, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain, and it is found in Muwatta (the version of Yahya) 2/464, 465.
