The people were with him until he sat down beside him and said, "Tell me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.'"
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن إسمعيل بن أبي خالد حدثنا عامر قال أتى رجل
وعنده القوم حتى جلس عنده فقال أخبرني بشيء سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Faith, in the chapter "The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe," hadith no. 10, from the hadith of Ismail bin Abu Khalid, through the same chain.
