The Messenger of Allah ﷺ vomited and broke his fast.I met Thawban, the freed servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, in the mosque of Damascus and said to him, "Abu Darda told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ vomited and broke his fast."Thawban replied, "He spoke the truth. I myself poured the water for his ablution ﷺ."
حدثنا أبو معمر عبد الله بن عمرو حدثنا عبد الوارث حدثنا الحسين عن يحيى حدثني عبد الرحمن بن عمرو الأوزاعي عن يعيش بن الوليد بن هشام أن أباه حدثه حدثني معدان بن طلحة أن
أن رسول الله ﷺ قاء فأفطر فلقيت ثوبان مولى رسول الله ﷺ في مسجد دمشق فقلت إن أبا الدرداء حدثني أن رسول الله ﷺ قاء فأفطر قال صدق وأنا صببت له وضوءه ﷺ
[Its chain is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in the chapters on purification, the chapter on what has been said about wudu after vomiting and nosebleeds, hadith 87, from the hadith of Abdul-Warith, with additional wording, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two sheikhs, 1/426, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
