It reached him that the Prophet ﷺ, when he broke his fast, would say, "O Allah, for You I have fasted, and with Your provision I have broken my fast."

Its chain is daif. Baghawi reported it in Sharh al-Sunnah (6/265, no. 1741) from the hadith of Husayn, by this route, and it is found in Marasil Abu Dawud (no. 99). Bayhaqi narrated it (4/235) from the hadith of Abu Dawud, by this route. The chain is disconnected (mursal).
