The Prophet ﷺ said, "Two months of celebration never fall short, Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah."
حدثنا مسدد أن يزيد بن زريع حدثهم حدثنا خالد الحذاء
عن النبي ﷺ قال شهرا عيد لا ينقصان رمضان وذو الحجة
Narrated by Muslim, in "Fasting," chapter clarifying the meaning of his saying ﷺ, "The two months of Eid do not fall short," no. 1912 (1089), from the hadith of Yazid bin Zuray.And Bukhari, in "Fasting," chapter "The two months of Eid do not fall short," no. 1912, from the hadith of Khalid Haddan, with the same wording.
