Its chain of transmission is daif. Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Divorce, chapter on the pregnant woman whose husband has died, etc., hadith no. 2030, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya al-Darir, through this route.Amash was a mudallis and narrated it using "an" (an ambiguous form indicating possible indirect transmission). The hadith has daif supporting narrations, and the hadith of Bukhari, no. 4532, serves in its place.
