The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a refuse heap belonging to some people and urinated while standing. He then called for water and wiped over his leather socks.
حدثنا حفص بن عمر ومسلم بن إبراهيم قالا حدثنا شعبة ح و حدثنا مسدد حدثنا أبو عوانة وهذا لفظ حفص عن سليمان عن أبي وائل
أتى رسول الله ﷺ سباطة قوم فبال قائما ثم دعا بماء فمسح على خفيه
Bukhari narrated it, in wudu, the chapter on urinating standing and sitting, hadith no. 224, from the hadith of Shubah, with this wording, and Muslim, in purification, the chapter on wiping over the socks, hadith no. 273, from the hadith of Sulayman Amash, with this wording. Tirmidhi also narrated it, hadith no. 13, and Nasai, nos. 18, 26, 28, and Ibn Majah, hadith no.
