The wife of Thabit bin Qays sought a khula divorce from him, and the Prophet ﷺ set her waiting period at one menstrual cycle.
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحيم البزاز حدثنا علي بن بحر القطان حدثنا هشام بن يوسف عن معمر عن عمرو بن مسلم عن عكرمة
أن امرأة ثابت بن قيس اختلعت منه فجعل النبي ﷺ عدتها حيضة
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it, chapter on divorce and mutual cursing, section on what has been said regarding khula, hadith no. 1185m, from Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahim, with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib. The hadith of Abdul-Razzaq is in Musannaf, hadith no. 11858.
