That, meaning coitus interruptus, was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "Why does any of you do this?" He did not say, "Let none of you do it." For there is no soul destined to be created except that Allah will create it.
حدثنا إسحق بن إسمعيل الطالقاني حدثنا سفيان عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد عن قزعة
ذلك عند النبي ﷺ يعني العزل قال فلم يفعل أحدكم ولم يقل فلا يفعل أحدكم فإنه ليست من نفس مخلوقة إلا الله خالقها
Muslim narrated it, book of Nikah, chapter on the ruling of azl, hadith no: 132/1438, from the hadith of Sufyan through the same chain. Bukhari mentioned it as a suspended narration, hadith no: 7409, from the hadith of Mujahid through the same chain.
