The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Abdul-Rahman bin Awf with traces of saffron on him, and the Prophet ﷺ asked, "What is this?"He replied, "Messenger of Allah, I have married a woman."The Prophet asked, "How much did you give her as her dowry?"He answered, "The weight of a date-stone in gold."The Prophet said, "Hold a wedding feast, even if only with a single sheep."

أن رسول الله ﷺ رأى عبد الرحمن بن عوف وعليه ردع زعفران فقال النبي ﷺ مهيم فقال يا رسول الله تزوجت امرأة قال ما أصدقتها قال وزن نواة من ذهب قال أولم ولو بشاة
[Its isnad is sahih] Nasai narrated it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter on the concession regarding yellow perfume at marriage, no. 3375, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Anas.
