A young virgin girl came to the Prophet ﷺ and reported that her father had married her off against her will, so the Prophet ﷺ gave her the choice.
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا حسين بن محمد حدثنا جرير بن حازم عن أيوب عن عكرمة
أن جارية بكرا أتت النبي ﷺ فذكرت أن أباها زوجها وهي كارهة فخيرها النبي ﷺ
[Hasan] Ibn Majah reported it in Kitab al-Nikah, Chapter on one who marries off his daughter while she is unwilling, no. 1875, from the hadith of Husayn bin Muhammad Marwazi, through this same route, and the hadith has corroborating narrations.
