Umm Habiba said, "Messenger of Allah, would you be interested in my sister?"He asked, "And do what?"She said, "Marry her."He said, "Your sister?"She said, "Yes."He said, "Would you really like that?"She said, "I am not your only wife, and I would love for my sister to share with me in something good."He said, "She is not lawful for me."She said, "But by Allah, I have been told that you are seeking the hand of Durra," or "Dharra," (Zuhayr was uncertain) "the daughter of Abu Salama."He said, "The daughter of Umm Salama?"She said, "Yes."He said, "By Allah, even if she were not my stepdaughter raised under my care, she would still not be lawful for me. She is the daughter of my brother through nursing. Thuwayba nursed both me and her father. So do not offer me your daughters or your sisters in marriage."
