The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made his camel kneel at the open valley of Dhul-Hulayfah and prayed there, and Abdullah bin Umar used to do the same.
حدثنا القعنبي عن مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ أناخ بالبطحاء التي بذي الحليفة فصلى بها فكان عبد الله بن عمر يفعل ذلك
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter 14, hadith 1532, and Muslim in the Book of Hajj, chapter on the recommendation of etc., hadith 1257, after hadith 1345, from the hadith of Malik through this route, and it is found in the section on stopping at the valley of Zulhulayfa in Muwatta (Yahya), 1/405.
