I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ throwing the pebbles from atop his mount on the Day of Sacrifice in the forenoon. As for the days after that, he would throw them after the sun had passed its zenith.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج قال أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يرمي على راحلته يوم النحر ضحى فأما بعد ذلك فبعد زوال الشمس
Muslim narrated it in Hajj, in the chapter on stating the preferred time for the ramy (stoning), hadith no. 1299, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj through the same chain. Bukhari mentioned it as a suspended narration before hadith no. 1746.
