I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ throwing the pebbles at the Jamrah from the bottom of the valley while riding, saying takbir with each pebble, and a man behind him was shielding him. I asked about the man, and they said, "Fadl bin Abbas."The people crowded around, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "People, do not kill one another. When you throw the pebbles at the Jamrah, throw with pebbles the size of small stones used for flicking."
[Its chain is daif]. Ibn Majah also recorded it in "Manasik," chapter "From where should one stove Jamra Uqba?" (Hadith 3031), from the hadith of Ali bin Mushir with the same chain. Yazid is daif, as noted previously at 1474.
