My grandmother Sarra bint Nabhan, who had been a mistress of a household during the days of ignorance, told me, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us on the Day of Heads and asked, 'What day is this?'We replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.'He said, 'Is it not the middle day of the days of Tashreeq?'"
