When the Prophet ﷺ entered the lavatory, he would remove his ring.
حدثنا نصر بن علي عن أبي علي الحنفي عن همام عن ابن جريج عن الزهري
كان النبي ﷺ إذا دخل الخلاء وضع خاتمه
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Purification, Chapter on Remembering Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, in the Restroom and Wearing a Ring in the Restroom, hadith 303, from Nasr bin Ali with this chain. Tirmidhi also narrated it, hadith 1746, and Nasai, hadith 5216, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih gharib. Ibn Jurayj is a mudallis and narrated it with an ambiguous form of transmission (an'ana).
