The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from a shoulder of meat, then wiped his hand on a cloth that was beneath him, then stood up and prayed.
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا أبو الأحوص حدثنا سماك عن عكرمة
أكل رسول الله ﷺ كتفا ثم مسح يده بمسح كان تحته ثم قام فصلى
[Its isnad is daif]. Ibn Majah narrated it in "Purification," chapter "The Concession Regarding That," hadith 488, from the hadith of Abu Ahwas by this route. Simak's narration from Ikrima is daif, but the basic hadith has supporting witnesses.
