The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca in the year of the Conquest from Kada, from the upper part of Mecca, and during the Umra he entered from Kuda. Urwa used to enter from both of them, but he most often entered from Kuda, as it was the closer of the two to his home.
حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله حدثنا أبو أسامة حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
دخل رسول الله ﷺ عام الفتح من كداء من أعلى مكة ودخل في العمرة من كدى قال وكان عروة يدخل منهما جميعا وكان أكثر ما كان يدخل من كدى وكان أقربهما إلى منزله
Bukhari narrated it in Hajj, chapter "From where does one leave Makkah?", hadith no. 1578, and Muslim narrated it in Hajj, chapter "The recommendation of entering Makkah from the upper pass," etc., hadith no. 1258, from the hadith of Abu Usama, with this chain.
